What Am I Up To This Weekend?
Easter Monday Concert
I’ll be playing at one of the local castles!
Easter Monday Concert
with the
Bergisch Gladbach Chamber Orchestra
in Bensberg Castle
Here’s what’s happening:
A Symphonic concert featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonín Dvořák, and Camille Saint-Saëns.
The Bergisch Gladbach Chamber Orchestra (that includes me) will take you on a musical journey through 18th- and 19th-century Europe. Explore musical paths from the High Baroque to the Romantic era and experience masterpieces from Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic.
The program promises a multifaceted stylistic and sonic experience: violin, oboe, and piano perform as soloists in various combinations, accompanied by the orchestra. With their distinctive timbres, they unfold a rich emotional range—from virtuoso brilliance to heartfelt poetry.
Musicians:
- Alexander Lifland (violin)
- Birgit Heydel (violin)
- Agnes Grube (oboe)
- Roman Salyutov (piano & orchestra conductor)
