The Evolution of Nandin Music
As a child, Nandin was fascinated by music and began taking piano lessons. She had her first spiritual experience while singing, which brought her to a state of bliss. Later, she played recorder, guitar, and flute, eventually becoming a professionally trained musician. She studied with famous flutists, practiced daily, and won competitions. She eventually taught at a university and music college.
Around the time she started playing the flute, she also started doing yoga, which helped her reach a state of deep peace. After meeting her first spiritual teacher, Osho, she rediscovered her passion for divine bliss and left her home to pursue a career in busking.
She played with musicians from around the world. During her time in India, she played with musicians like Deva Premal and Miten, Prem Joshua, Karunesh, Sambodhi Prem, Chinmaya Dunster, Milarepa, and Manish Vyas. She started her CD career with musicians from India, producing albums like ‘Feng Shui’ Parts One and Two, ‘Windsongs’, ‘Pure Delight’, ‘Tai Chi’, ‘The Art of the Wise Women’, ‘On a Day Like This’, ‘Flowers’, and ‘From Here to Here’.
After some years, she decided to give up her busking career and play meditative music, meeting her next spiritual teacher, Samarpan, which led to the end of her pursuit of divine bliss.
Meditative music continues to be the moving force in her life. Come and play with her and her music !
